Through the Education sector, the BDE seeks to improve the academic quality of Ecuador through the financing of studies, physical infrastructure, as well as technical and technological equipment in higher education institutions.

• Pre-investment studies
• Investment (as many new projects as rehabilitation, completion and complementary):
• Physical infrastructure
• Teaching infrastructure: classrooms, workshops, as well as other buildings
• Research infrastructure: laboratories, libraries, interconnectivity and other constructions for research
• Technical and technological equipment: laboratory equipment, networks and connectivity, robotic databases, digital classrooms, software, hardware and others.
